SPRING AND SUMMER EVENTS FOR 2011

We are planning to have music in the park again this summer.  Always on a Friday night in the
Veterans Park on the Ohio River on Main Street.


The 4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION will be a two day event in Vanceburg for the 2011 year.  The
celebration will begin on Friday, July 1 at 6:00PM and Saturday July 2, beginning at 5:00AM with
FIREWORKS beginning a 10:00PM that night.  A list of the 2 day events follows:

Thursday Evening June 30th, 6pm after- Vendors can set up with no set up fees and a first come,first
serve bases.

Friday Evening July 1, 6pm Celebration starts.

ANNUAL CHRISTMAS EVENT FOR 2011                                                    
Wednesday December 14th The 8th annual Churches by Candlelight Tour. Come join us for this
wonderful event.  Hear the history of the old churches and the part they played in the development of
Vanceburg.
The Tour will begin at the Old Courthouse on 2nd Street and there we will be entertained by the Lewis
County High School Band and Chore.  The tour of the churches will begin after the performance.  This
is a wonderful way to start the Christmas Holidays Season..  For more information call Patty at
